• Pediatric & Adult pain physician  
• Coordinates care, rules out/treats underlying medical issues
• May prescribe medications

• Offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or other psychotherapies
• Treats co-occurring mental health issues (e.g., anxiety, depression)
• Biofeedback, relaxation training

• Develops an individualized exercise program
• Focuses on restoring function and reducing fear of movement (kinesiophobia) chronic pain physical therapy for back pain occupational therapist

• Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs)
